We designed the SWAP+ system for minimal human intervention; it requires almost no regular maintenance.

The ceramic vessels are dishwasher safe. If necessary, simply lift out the plant bag with the provided handles, and run those vessels through a standard wash cycle. Hand washing works just as well.

Every few months, check the water vessel for water quality. If any soil or plant debris falls into it, then over time, the water inside will get contaminated. Simply disassemble, clean, reassemble, and refill with fresh water.
